Artem Vale is proud to partner with Inside Athletics, a Tampa-based athlete development ecosystem, to bring Inside the Helmet to our youth programming and expand access to this transformative experience for young people facing adversity or limited opportunities.

Inside the Helmet is the mental development and leadership component of athlete training, focused on helping young athletes strengthen their sports intelligence, confidence, communication skills, and life readiness.

Together, Artem Vale and Inside Athletics are creating a powerful program that develops the whole athlete - Brain, Body, and Belief.

Mental development, including sports IQ, communication skills, leadership, and sports psychology.

The Inside the Helmet Experience

Inside the Helmet is designed as a lounge-style classroom where young athletes learn the mental and strategic aspects of sports that are often overlooked in traditional training programs.

The classroom can accommodate up to 30 athletes and includes two 98‑inch televisions, two 75‑inch televisions, and large whiteboards used for film study, presentations, and athlete leadership exercises.

Your support ensures youth participating in this program will receive access to:

  • We are partnering with Premier Sports Psychology to provide structured mental performance training.

    Athletes may use the Premier Mindset Program app to complete the Premier Mindset Assessment and track mental development across confidence, focus, motivation, imagery, emotional regulation, mindfulness, and mental fundamentals.

    Athletes may schedule sessions with licensed mental health professionals when additional support is needed outside the training environment. This provides a professional layer of support beyond the coaching staff and strengthens the overall development system. Mental health access is also a key component of the organization’s future community and inner-city initiatives.

  • Inside the Helmet delivers an 8‑module sports IQ curriculum covering offensive concepts, defensive recognition, situational football, playbook development, film study, and leadership communication.

    Athletes demonstrate knowledge through written assessments, film discussion, and whiteboard presentations.

  • Inside the Helmet includes a media interview studio where athletes practice communication and leadership through simulated interviews.

    Athletes practice post‑game interviews, recruiting conversations, and NIL style media interactions.

  • Athletes receive exposure to financial education topics such as budgeting, saving habits, taxes, and NIL income awareness.

    Guest speakers such as financial professionals or Merrill Lynch interns may participate in these sessions.

Artem Vale is dedicated to supporting mental wellness, empowering youth, and building resilience, particularly for young people with limited access to opportunity.
